Rivertown Hockey has a fantasy fishing group for the Bassmaster Elite Series. I’m sure most of you did not know there was such a thing. There are Nine tournaments between Feb 22nd and August. It’s very kid friendly and a fun game for anyone to play. https://bassmasterfantasy.com/Default.aspx?

We are only doing the Fantasy Fishing game, not the Drain the Lake game.

Winner of each tournament will get a bag of tackle.

We had about 25 people in the group last year, I hope we can beat that.

BRONZEBACKS or, maybe Muskies or Largies. It's been great the last few years to be able to combine my two favorite things, hockey and fishing. Teaching the kids about the greatest fish swimming... the Bronzeback, the meanest fish in the water, the Muskie or the most popular fish in America the Largemouth Bass. We all like catching Giants. We encourage our players to wet a line and have fun outdoors. Time away from the rink is as important as time at the rink.

It's really hard for me to believe I have been fishing tournaments for over 35 years but the anticipation of the first bite and the morning take off still gets me. I love it and hope some of my enthusiasm for fishing will rub off on the players. Just like training for hockey, I try to get a little better every day, learning about the fish. keeping on top of electronics, baits, techniques, weather etc..... I am pumped about being able to share some of the knowledge I have acquired over the last 35 plus years of tournament fishing and give any kid or family a jump start on fishing success. They won't all make the NHL but they could all fish the rest of their lives.

Below you will see the latest project. Spent a lot of time the last 6 months with some upgrades. Sold the F250, put on a SHO. Rewired all electrical and converted to rocker switches. Added a Couple Garmins with live scope, network and NEMA2000. Fabricated a new dash insert and other electronics mounts including a perspective view mount . I added some sea deck to the consoles and step area. The big ole FX210 is a great big water bass boat, a little deeper and has more deadrise than most.
