Rivertown Hockey is holding a contest for all Rivertown players that will run from January 15th - May 15th.
On this page are 8 workout videos with hockey specific supersets that a player can accomplish in 20 minutes or so. These supersets are body weight exercises for any age and can be done with little to no equipment. The player just follows along with the video. You play it 4 times and that counts as 1 full workout.
There is a log sheet here for you to print out. Each workout must be signed for by a parent. Here is the form
Here is a link to buy a sideboard for about $200. The best tool made for stride work! You may also be able to find them cheaper. If you do not have a slideboard, you can substitute stride jumps.
Each year we have done this contest, there has been some players that were really dedicated which was fun to see. We hope this will help motivate kids to get a little better, stronger and faster every day.
